Welcome! You see before you the Second Anniversary Issue of the SCROOMtimes! Yep, we've been doing this for two years now - 24 issues! Some of you have been here all along, we thank you. Some of you are newcomers, and we welcome and thank you as well!

In this issue: Skippy takes a shower, we all rejoice! Actually, Skippy got special permission to leave his closet, and attend a baby shower (You can put down the knife now, Tami). He shares with us his thoughts on those events. Fiona Jane has a little problem with lies this month, and our own Pelican Smith gives us his Top Ten list of geeks. In addition, Ealasaid Haas has reviewed the best of the summer movie crop.

In sports, Dean tells us why he's a Red Six fan (really - it does make sense, in a twisted sort of way), and Dave Lind's View from the Cheap Seats purports to tell us why college sports are not better than pro sports.

Molly Degnan returns, and has a few thoughts to share on a recent news story, David Mandell returns with some thoughts on fame, and Dean Shutt analyzes Bruce Springsteen.

In addition to all of this, two new poets join our ranks, mark p, and Monique Fox. Tell us what you think!

We would be nowhere without you, so thanks, and keep on coming back. And bring your friends!
